Ramsey Reyes

Accompanist

An Orlando native, Ramsey Reyes is an active collaborative pianist and vocal coach. Fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Russian, Ramsey has largely focused on coaching languages with singers. In addition to his work at AVA, Ramsey also works often with Opera Orlando and the Vienna Summer Music Festival. Ramsey served as assistant conductor at Opera North for their productions of La Traviata and Così fan Tutte, and is currently an assistant conductor for the University of Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra. He was selected as a vocal collaborative fellow for the Miami Classical Music Festival in 2020, and has participated in the Collaborative Piano Institute, Lee University International Piano Festival, Music Academy International Festival, and Curtis Young Artists Summer Program. Ramsey is also a piano teacher and accompanist at the University of Pennsylvania, a college advisor for Berton College, and the founder of the Virtú Institute, a summer program for middle and high school students in California. He holds degrees from Temple University, where he studied Piano Performance and Collaborative Piano with Charles Abramovic and Lambert Orkis, as well as the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied with Amy Yang.
