Daniela Machado, soprano, hails from South Florida with roots in Puerto Rico and Colombia. Machado recently completed her graduate studies at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music in Houston, Texas. She has been featured in the Shepherd School’s productions of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin as Tatiana, and Weill’s Street Scene as Anna Maurrant. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio. There she was seen in Menotti’s Amelia al Ballo as Amelia and in Poulenc’s La Voix Humaine as Woman #1.
