Beautiful Sheriff, soprano, earned her Master of Music degree from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from Mercer University. She is originally from Georgia where she performed the roles of Second Woman in Dido and Aeneas and Perlimpinpin in Le dernier sorcier. Recently she performed the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angelica with Operativo Houston and the role of Despina in Così fan tutte in the Shepherd School of Music’s Mozart Workshop. She won the Houston District and received an Encouragement Award at the regional level in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. Ms. Sheriff will perform the role of Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Seagle Festival in summer 2024.
