We invite Philadelphia’s young professionals (ages 45 and under) to an exclusive, one-night only performance of Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville)! This classic comedy whisks audiences away to Seville, Spain, to watch barber Figaro help the lovestruck Count Almaviva catch the eye of the beautiful Rosina, resulting hilarious schemes and antics. A perennial hit with opera lovers, this work is a perfect introduction to opera for those who are curious about the artform or who wish to expand their musical tastes. After five previously sold-out Young Professionals performances, we are thrilled to be hosting another Night at the Opera event.
