This season, we continue our exploration of art song. All performances are held in AVA’s intimate Helen Corning Warden Theater. This year’s Fall Recital will feature excerpts from Janáček’s Káťa Kabanová, a duet and trio from Smetana’s The Bartered Bride (in Czech), and an aria and three duets from Marschner’s Der Vampyr (in German).
