Russian Romances

December 17–18, 2018

Take shelter from a cold, winter night and cozy up with an evening at AVA for the love affair that is Russian Romances, held at AVA’s Helen Corning Warden Theater. AVA Russian repertoire vocal coach Ghenady Meirson is the music director and pianist. Russian Romances will also feature cellist Vivian Barton Dozor, who has played with Opera Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Ballet, the AVA Opera Orchestra, and much more.

This year’s program will include songs and ensembles by Glinka, Borodin, Arensky, Taneyev, Glière, Medtner, Gretchaninoff, Cui, Prokofieff, Shostakovich and Sviridov. See photos from last year’s program here.

Young Professional and student tickets are $10, and general tickets are $25! Tickets may be purchased online or by calling the Box Office at 215-735-1685.
